Marie Fedorov is the Director of FEDOROV Family Lawyers and Family Mediation Station.

Marie offers support and guidance through FEDOROV Family Lawyers unique Separation and Support Service to emotionally support our clients and empowering them to make considered decisions when negotiating outcomes. Combined with a friendly nature Marie is not only dedicated to understanding Client’s needs but is also dedicated to thinking outside the square whilst providing professional advice to Clients in a timely and cost effective fashion. Marie is a thought leader in Family Law and is hands down one of the top female lawyers on the Gold Coast.
In her spare time, Marie loves spending time with her husband and two little boys, running (and running after her boys) cooking up a storm and travel.
Jennifer Grady is General Manager with FEDOROV Family Lawyers.
Jennifer has over 25 years management experience with an extensive background in business and finance. She began her career working for one of Melbourne’s most prestigious law firms and has joined the firm, having recently worked with a mid-tier boutique law firm on the Gold Coast.
Jennifer is passionate about helping people and driving change. She has a special interest in coaching and analysing the dynamics of human behaviour.
In her spare time, Jennifer loves to spend time with her family, cook up a storm and sew. She is an avid Lions fan and an advocate for healthy eating. A lover of travel, when restrictions ease, you will see Jennifer planning her next trip.
Natasha has practised exclusively in family law for almost 10 years.
Natasha is passionate about helping her clients resolve their property settlement matters as quickly and as cost effectively as possible. She often receives positive feedback and referrals from her clients are grateful for her experience and honest advice.
Natasha has a particular interest in alternate dispute resolution which can often achieve a more efficient, discrete and harmonious resolution for clients. In her spare time, Natasha enjoy spending time with family and friends and travelling.
With over 20 years’ experience in family law, Matthew brings a wealth of experience to his role as Special Counsel. Matthew obtained the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (English) and Law from the University of Queensland. Following his graduation in 2001, Matthew spent 2 years as an Articled Clerk in a small suburban general practice, before moving on to other roles.
In 2007 Matthew started his own law firm, Matthew Love Family Lawyers, which grew to be a trusted name in family law, with 3 offices across the Brisbane area. In 2019 Mathew sold his business in order to focus on Family Dispute Resolution.
In 2021 Matthew was offered a position at Fedorov Family Lawyers.
Matthew takes pride in being able to deliver realistic solutions, and in assisting his clients in moving from a place of uncertainty towards a brighter future.
Michelangelo is a diversified legal practitioner with almost 9 years post-admission experience. He has 6 years of focused family law experience on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Michelangelo is an experienced negotiator of dispute and has a record of handling high volume of cases, while forming excellent client relations and obtaining quality outcomes across the spectrum of family law matters. He is also a capable solicitor-advocate and trusted advisor, having represented numerous clients both in court proceedings and mediations.
Between 2018 and 2020, Michelangelo took up a legal in-house role with the headquarters of an international non-governmental organization, working in corporate governance and compliance, property and land, contracts, banking, taxation, privacy, employment and litigation.
In 2021, he returned to the field of family and re-joined Fedorov Family Lawyers, having worked at the firm previously between 2016 and 2018.
Michelangelo has a particular interest in forms of alternate dispute resolution, such as mediation, and how they can help clients achieve better outcomes without the need for expensive and protracted litigation.
In his spare time, Michelangelo enjoys spending time with his family and playing soccer. He is an avid supporter of his favourite team, Juventus FC.
Caroline has over ten years post-admission experience and has worked across a range of legal sectors and practice areas. In the practice of family law she draws upon her knowledge of debt and finance and combines these with up to date legal principles to assist clients navigate the difficult process of separation with dignity.
Caroline also has a special interest in working with clients committed to generational wealth preservation through effective estate planning. By drawing on her understanding of taxation and experience as a wealth coach and building trust with clients to fully understand their assets and personal goals, Caroline tailors estate planning solutions for each client. Her practice portfolio also includes deceased estates administration, contested estates and superannuation claims.
Caroline enjoys contributing to her local and global community. Whilst practicing in the South Burnett, Caroline worked with a team of women to found South Burnett Women and deliver the Ellen Mary Kent Hughes Memorial Scholarship. Caroline has also mentored several early career lawyers and contributes to community projects where she can.
When not making memories with her wonderful husband and two young boys you might catch her hitting the iron or climbing a mountain at dawn.
Along with being a Senior Associate at FEDOROV Family Lawyers and an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Josephine is a mum of two and a wife.
Josephine is dedicated to finding a better way for you to separate and knows that “one size does not fit all” when you are going through the resolution process. Josephine works with you to understand the approach you are comfortable with to reach resolution and the life you want to live once the resolution process is over. Once Josephine understands your goals, she works with you to create a tailored strategy for your resolution process.
Josephine believes that by prioritising relationships and supporting parents to preserve and build their coparenting relationship, we can work towards a future where children can grow up in families where their parents work through conflict collaboratively and with respect.
To Josephine, resolving your family law matter is not only about reaching a legal solution, but to view your situation from a human perspective and to embrace a process and outcome that will help you and your children find your emotional and financial freedom beyond the resolution process.
Josephine has practised exclusively in family law for almost 9 years. Josephine has a keen interest in property settlement matters, particularly matters which involve companies and trusts. Josephine enjoys helping parents work together to keep their children at the heart of the decision-making process.
Josephine takes a collaborative approach in mediations, conciliation conferences and family dispute resolution conferences. For the matters that require court intervention, Josephine is an experienced solicitor advocate and has successfully represented clients in a wide range of family law court matters.
Admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW on 11 September 2020. Graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Laws (with distinction) and Bachelor Criminology and Criminal Justice (with distinction). Completed Practical Legal Training with the College of Law in mid 2020.
I am passionate about helping clients resolve their parenting matters efficiently with compassion and the least amount of stress possible.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my labrador Maxwell at the beach and attending my local CrossFit gym.
Sarra completed her Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Arts at Griffith University in 2018 and is set to be admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court in September. With a strong passion and accomplished expertise in family law, Sarra’s goal is to assist clients in navigating complex issues that can arise post separation and to reach a cost-effective and amicable solution. Sarra is passionate about supporting clients in what can be a very emotional time.
In her spare time, Sarra enjoys snowboarding down the mountains of Whistler or spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Stormy.
Tessa is the Practice Manager and Separation Support Manager at FEDOROV Family Lawyers. Tessa’s passion is supporting clients through a very difficult time in their lives, she believes that with someone by your side it makes separating a little less overwhelming. Tessa also supports each member of the team to be the best that they can be. Tessa stands by her motto “The holistic support team caring for you!!”, which is evident in the caring nature of the team. We aren’t just a family law firm, we are there with our clients each step of the way!
Family and friends are most important to Tessa. She even incorporates going to the gym with her friends to motivate each other. Tessa’s other love is walking every day with her labradoodle dog Roxy.

Joanna Burnett is a professional counsellor qualifying in 2003 with a Bachelor of Social Work from Deakin University. Joanna worked in the NSW local magistrate’s courts supporting people experiencing domestic violence and counselling/groups for families in the Tweed Shire.
She started her private practice in both NSW/QLD as a counsellor in 2006 working with families, individuals and couples. Joanna continued to work in her counselling practice part time and in 2005 worked in a psychiatric hospital, with inpatients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, complex trauma and other mental health issues for over 10 years, whilst completing a Masters in Forensic Mental Health in 2013 with Griffith University.
Since 2017, Joanna has been working both in counselling and assessing separating couples in collaboration with family lawyers. She has commenced a Masters by Thesis in 2018 researching family violence and mediation with Southern Cross University.
Jay draws from a wealth of over 20 years’ experience enabling and developing others personally and professionally. With an intuitive and empathetic approach to coaching and mentoring, Jay’s exceptional communication skills create a strong personal drive to help others achieve their full potential.

Karen is our CFO and brings to the practice over 20 years commercial and corporate experience.

She brings over 15 years Legal Accounting experience to the practice and also a wealth of knowledge from other industries.
Dawn enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends and loves to travel whenever she can.
Fiona has over 20 years’ experience in various accounting roles. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog on the beach, and skiing when she gets the chance.
Kristy has worked as a Legal Secretary for over 20 years in various areas of law. She has a strong commitment to efficiency and communication to enable a positive client experience.
In her spare time Kristy enjoys family time and keeping active.
Lateesha has worked as a Legal Assistant in the area of Family Law for 9 years. Her empathetic nature is something that our clients really appreciate as go through the emotional Divorce process.
In her spare time, Lateesha enjoys travelling, spending time at the beach, jet skiing and catching up with friends and family.
Vicki brings over 40 years of legal experience to the firm with the last 15 years spent in family law. Vicki has worked in New South Wales, Western Australia and now Queensland.
Vicki works in our Brisbane office and brings great understanding of what is involved in family law matters.
When not at work you can find Vicki spending time with her family, taking the grandchildren on adventures or sitting at home reading a good book or listening to her eclectic taste in music (and it is eclectic!!).
Angela is our friendly face at the front desk, she greets everyone with the utmost respect and kindness and loves to help in any way she can.
When she isn’t in the office, Angela loves going for hikes in nature, doing Pilates and spending time with friends and family.
